Secret Garden is one of the oldest established Bungalow resorts on Big Buddha Beach in Koh Samui. It is set in the middle of the bay at the nicest part of the beach, not far from the Ferry to Koh Phangan.
What was once a simple beach bar is now a beachfront restaurant and bar. And the beach bungalows and rooms are recently re-designed and equipped with everything that a modern traveller desires.
The day-beds on the beach and around the pool are welcoming the guests for long lazy hours with stunning views and refreshing cocktails. The resort offers complimentary WiFi in all accommodation, in the restaurant and bar and even in the garden and on the beach. The sea is perfect for swimming and there are lots of watersport activities available at Big Buddha Beach.
The guests of Secret Garden can also enjoy a professional Thai massage in the large beachfront Sala.
Besides the well-known Thai menu the restaurant of Secret Garden offers a complete western menu inspired by the French/Mediterranean kitchen. The restaurant is open from 8 am for ‘A la Carte’ breakfast, lunch and dinner and the beachfront bar closes around midnight.
The well-known ‘Secret Garden Sunday Sessions’, with live music performed by international artists that visited or lived in Koh Samui, started around 1990 and lasted for more than 20 years! Even artists like Mick Jagger performed at Secret Garden...
John and Rik, the Dutch owners of Secret Garden since the beginning of 2013, decided to bring back the ‘Secret Garden Sunday Sessions’ and again this weekly event is very popular with Samui residents and visitors.
The motto of Secret Garden is ‘eat, sleep, drink, relax’ and this is exactly what you can expect of this colourful resort!
